Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will round things out when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
